Mighty Mouse Sangchu (Chuflex, real name Lee Sang-cheol) has reported a situation where, for an unknown reason, he is unable to use his music on social media.
On the 23rd, Sangchu posted a lengthy message on his social account, stating, "The super Korean track I released about two years ago went viral, and many people from various countries around the world have uploaded thousands of challenge videos, receiving excessive love."
He explained, "However, now for some unknown reason, all those countless challenge videos have been deleted, and despite the fact that I wrote and composed the music, there has been an issue where I can't even use or listen to my music on TikTok or Reels due to copyright ownership issues." He added, "Now it has become available again, but many of the challenge videos that people previously uploaded have either disappeared or need to be replaced with different music."
He continued, "Currently, the music distributor is working quickly to resolve the issue. I am more upset than anyone, but I hope it is resolved soon, and I write this with a heavy heart." He added, "I request everyone to once again love the super Korean, which is slowly being forgotten due to these issues."
Sangchu also posted the same message in his story, expressing his frustration by saying, "I am very angry, but... for now, all I can do is wait..." In response, fellow Mighty Mouse member Shorry (Shorry J, real name So Joon-seob) shared the post on his account, adding a praying emoticon to show support.
Meanwhile, Sangchu debuted in 2008 as part of the hip-hop duo Mighty Mouse, releasing various hit songs and gaining public love.
Below is the complete post by Sangchu.
Hello. The super Korean track I released about two years ago went viral, and many people from various countries around the world have uploaded thousands of challenge videos, receiving excessive love.
However, now for some unknown reason, all those countless challenge videos have been deleted, and despite the fact that I wrote and composed the music, I encountered an issue where I could not use or listen to my music on TikTok or Reels due to copyright ownership problems.
Now it has become available again, but many of the challenge videos that people previously uploaded have either disappeared or need to be replaced with different music.
Currently, the music distributor is working quickly to resolve the issue. I am more upset than anyone, but I hope it is resolved soon, and I write this with a heavy heart.
I request everyone to once again love the super Korean, which is slowly being forgotten due to these issues.
