BABYMONSTER members Ahyun and Asaga are set to appear on 'Running Man' ahead of their comeback.
According to OSEN on the 23rd, BABYMONSTER members Ahyun and Asaga will appear on 'Running Man' ahead of their comeback in July. Actor Joo Hyun-young will also join as a guest. Their episode is scheduled to air on July 6.
They have been recording with the 'Running Man' members since the morning. Joo Hyun-young has previously appeared as a guest on 'Running Man' several times, showcasing her great chemistry with the members, while this will be Ahyun and Asaga's first appearance on the show.
Overall, this will be Ahyun and Asaga's second appearance with BABYMONSTER. Last November, members Laura and Lami appeared on the show, expressing their affection as 'Running Man Kids.' While they greeted Yoo Jae-suk and shook hands, expectations are high for how Ahyun and Asaga will present themselves during this outing.
Additionally, BABYMONSTER is set to make a comeback with a pre-release single 'HOT SAUCE' on July 1. Yang Hyun-suk, the chief producer, noted the group's comeback, saying, "I prepared this as a gift, hoping you make the most of this summer. It’s an addictive hip-hop song from the mid-1980s," stirring excitement among music fans.
In particular, as the pre-release is set for July, followed by a second single in September and a mini-album in October, the members' active promotion ahead of their summer comeback is drawing attention. Many are curious about what kind of sense of entertainment they will reveal through 'Running Man' and how they will harmonize with the members.
Actor Joo Hyun-young, also appearing with BABYMONSTER, is set to release the film 'Goryeong Train' on July 9. 'Goryeong Train' is a mystery horror film where Dakyung (played by Joo Hyun-young), a horror YouTuber thirsty for views, uncovers secrets at the suspicious Gwangrim Station, facing terrifying incidents, which will send shivers down audiences’ spines this summer.
Meanwhile, the episode featuring the three will air on SBS 'Running Man' on July 6. 'Running Man' broadcasts every Sunday at 6:10 p.m.
