The Pohapiano Research Association will carry out a grand project titled 'The Great Heritage of Music: Mozart’s Artistry' from the second half of this year until the first half of 2026, showcasing all 27 pieces of Mozart's piano concertos. This is a major plan commemorating its launch as a non-profit corporation in January 2025, after starting out as a non-profit organization in 2019 and growing over five years.

Professor Joo Hee-sung of Seoul National University, who is the representative and artistic director of the Pohapiano Research Association, noted, "The concert series 'The Great Heritage of Music: Mozart’s Artistry' consists of a total of seven performances," adding, "It is very special because it allows audiences to appreciate Mozart's works written for orchestra and piano, from early pieces that feel like overflowing green energy to late works that convey mature and sacred beauty."

A total of 30 pianists will perform, including works for two pianos and three pianos. Notable performers include artistic director Joo Hee-sung, Lee Yoon-soo, Kim Kyung-ah, Noh Yoo-ri, Kim Bo-ram, Choi Hyun-ho, Yu Se-hyung, Lee Jin-hyun, and more. The orchestra part will be played by the Mare String Quartet and the double bass players, who will perform alongside the soloists. The performances are expected to take place at Seoul National University Art Center Concert Hall, Prugio Art Hall, and Seoul Arts Center IBK Chamber Hall.

The Pohapiano Research Association holds regular concerts on academic topics twice a year at venues like the Seoul Arts Center and Kumho Art Hall. Additionally, it has showcased major programs to the audience through its own planned music concerts, including the complete works of Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier, all of Beethoven's piano sonatas, all of Liszt's etudes, all of Rachmaninoff's etudes and preludes, and all of Scriabin's etudes. During the 3rd anniversary concert held at Goyang Aram Nuri Ara Music Hall in August 2022, it made various and bold attempts, including a stage collaboration involving four pianos and vocalists.

Meanwhile, the Pohapiano Research Association, although composed of professional performers, is striving to create a platform where anyone can enjoy classical music. It is currently hosting the sixth iteration of the Po Music Contest for amateur musicians. Since the contest began, it established a subsidiary organization called 'Ama Poa' in 2022 to actively assist amateur musicians in performing on stage through regular concerts four times a year, and this year the 2nd Music Festival for amateur musicians will be held over two days on August 15 and 16.
