Actor Choo Young-Woo confessed his genuine feelings as an actor, saying, "I fell in love with acting."

On the web entertainment show "Salon Drip 2" from the YouTube channel "Channel 15" released on 24th, actor Choo Young-Woo appeared and shared honest and cheerful stories with MC Jang Doyoun.

He won the Rookie of the Year award at the Baeksang Arts Awards this year with unanimous votes from the judges, and he humbly expressed, "I didn't expect it at all." He recalled the proud moment when he was cast after auditions for both "The Tale of Lady Ok" and "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call," saying, "I was worried a lot in the middle, but it eventually turned into praise, and at the end, I was told, 'I’m proud of you.'" He also laughed, saying, "At times like that, it feels good to hear, 'Young-Woo, I raised you.'"

In response to reactions that he appears different in each work, he stated, "I tend to look different in photos, and my weight changes as frequently as a rubber band," adding, "I think we need to change our expressions, voices, and even mouth shapes for each character." That day, he even challenged himself to imitate Hwang Jung-Min and Ju Jihoon for the first time, eliciting Jang Doyoun's reaction of, "That's really identical."

When asked if acting was his original dream, he revealed, "I had no career path until I was 19. I just studied and liked science, wanting to become a biological researcher or a teacher," adding, "I studied hard and even ranked 1st or 2nd in my class."

However, at the moment he encountered acting as if by fate, Choo Young-Woo completely changed. He surprised Jang Doyoun by saying, "I fell in love with acting as soon as I started," and smiled, adding, "Not a person, but acting." He continued, "When my friends started laughing at my acting, I felt, 'Ah, I might be able to do this,'" and expressed gratitude, saying, "It might be unpleasant for my friends, but their support of 'You’re doing well' was really a great help."

More than the glorious awards, moments filled with the laughter and encouragement of friends gave Choo Young-Woo a strong sense of conviction. He is still walking the path of acting today with that love.
