Hollywood actor Brad Pitt mentioned that he needed to "get his head straight" after attending his first Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting following his divorce from Angelina Jolie.

On the 23rd (local time), foreign media Page Six reported that Brad Pitt shared his astonishing experience attending an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting on the podcast 'Armchair Expert' that aired that day.

Pitt recalled about the AA meeting, saying, "I really needed to get my head straight. At that time, I was willing to try anything anyone suggested. It was a really tough time. I needed a reboot."

Pitt did not specify exactly when he attended the AA meeting, but he had previously stated that he attended the meetings for a year and a half after his divorce from Angelina Jolie in 2016. He revealed that "I was scared as my turn approached, but seeing others openly share made me want to step outside that boundary as well. I gradually came to enjoy the experience."

He also added, "It had a really big meaning. It was a truly special experience," noting, "It was amazing to see men sharing their mistakes, desires, pains, and whims with humor." Although others opposed because of revealing his darker side, Pitt felt a sense of liberation.

Brad Pitt's alcohol issues are known to be one of the main reasons his marriage to Angelina Jolie fell apart.

In a recent interview with GQ magazine, Brad Pitt expressed his feelings about his divorce from Angelina Jolie, which was finalized last December after an eight-year legal battle, saying, "It wasn’t such a significant matter. It was just a legal conclusion."
