The Australian dance crew AG SQUAD has forgiven dancers Honey J and AIKI for their reckless remarks.
AG SQUAD posted a statement on their official social media on the 24th. The public letter mentioned the recent controversial reactions of Mnet reality program World of Street Woman Fighter (abbreviated as SWOLPA) participants Honey J and AIKI.
AG SQUAD first expressed gratitude, saying, "We sincerely thank you for your love and support at the Meet n Move event a few days ago. We are truly grateful for the wonderful community that supports us. Recently, fans tagged us multiple times in video-related posts. I just wanted to say that all of this shows your love for us."
"Especially to all the crews," they added, "We are truly grateful for your interest and kindness. In the end, we are all human, and mistakes can happen. We are doing our best to enhance women's rights, and all issues were respected and resolved on-site. With love, AG SQUAD."
SWOLPA is a reality show depicting a global dance battle that reflects the pride of strong women from around the world. It is drawing attention as the follow-up to the highly praised programs Street Woman Fighter and Street Man Fighter.
Amid this, Hyojin Choi, a member of the BUMSUP crew participating in SWOLPA, posted a review video of the first episode on her personal YouTube channel on the 21st. During this, BUMSUP members Honey J and AIKI received criticism for stating to AG SQUAD dancers, "Is that dancing? It's sex," among other inappropriate remarks. In response, Honey J and AIKI each posted apologies through their personal social media, expressing regret to the fans and AG SQUAD.
