Kakao Entertainment (CEO Kwon Gi-Soo, Jang Yun-Joong, hereafter referred to as Kakao) is holding the 'Kakao Entertainment Actors Audition' to discover new actors, and has released a video featuring special advice from senior actors such as Lee Byung-Hun, Park Seo Jun, Choo Young-Woo, Kim Ji-Yeon, Hong Hwa-Yeon, and Shin Do-Hyeon, garnering attention.

The 'Kakao Entertainment Actors Audition' is the second integrated audition for new actors held by Kakao after 2019, in collaboration with six management labels under its umbrella: BH Entertainment, VAST Entertainment, Management Forest, Awesome ENT, J-Wide Company, and King Kong by Starship. Anyone born between 2000 and 2010 can apply, with applications accepted through the Kakao audition website until July 11. The final candidates will be selected through a total of three rounds of evaluations, including online and offline assessments and acting tests, and successful candidates will sign exclusive contracts with one of the management labels and receive full support for their activities. Further details can be confirmed through the official audition website and social media, as well as individual notifications to successful candidates in the future.

This audition carries the slogan 'The beginning of acting, your first TAKE,' meaning to start your first TAKE as an actor through the audition and grow together. The video that has become a topic of conversation contains honest advice directed at new actors participating in the audition, along with experiences of the actors affiliated with each label regarding their own 'first TAKE.' Lee Byung-Hun (BH Entertainment) shared, 'My first take was in the drama “My Hometown on the Asphalt.” The pressure and tension of the first shoot can often be toxic. It’s good to have your own routine to relax when you arrive on set. Approaching filming with your own routine can help you fully unleash your potential.'

Actors who have become 'the trend' through various works also shared their somewhat clumsy but memorable 'first TAKE' episodes with aspiring actors, bringing warmth. Kim Ji-Yeon (King Kong by Starship) said, 'I struggled at first because I didn’t know the filming terms, but now it’s a fun memory,' while Hong Hwa-Yeon (BH Entertainment) revealed, 'In a scene where we were gossiping, I was so quiet that it didn’t pick up on the microphone,' eliciting laughter. Additionally, Shin Do-Hyeon (VAST Entertainment) smiled while saying, 'Filming feels exciting, fun, and even a bit nervous.'

Moreover, the actors also actively encouraged audition applications, displaying their interest. Choo Young-Woo (J-Wide Company) noted, 'After joining the company, I participated in many auditions and got opportunities, and I also improved my acting a lot at the audition site,' while Park Seo Jun (Awesome ENT) addressed the future junior actors, saying, 'I’ll be waiting. Please apply right now.'

Support from senior actors for applicants ahead of the audition is also gaining attention. In the released video, Seo Hyun-Jin (Management Forest) urged, 'Start your first take through the Kakao Entertainment Actors Audition,' and additionally conveyed the message, 'In auditions or filming, remind yourself, 'I can only do what I can do,' and I hope you don’t feel too nervous.'
