Top star Jun Ji-hyun is said to be contemplating the establishment of a one-person agency as her exclusive contract with her current agency comes to an end.

According to reports from OSEN on the 24th, Jun Ji-hyun's exclusive contract with Leeum Hashtag will expire in early July, and she is deeply considering establishing her own company rather than transferring to a large agency.

According to entertainment industry insiders, as Jun Ji-hyun enters the free agency market, well-known management companies in South Korea are showing great interest, but she is reportedly positively reviewing the idea of a one-person agency.

A source told OSEN, "It's widely known in the industry that Jun Ji-hyun will not renew her contract with her current agency and is parting ways. There are many talks about her establishing a one-person agency with like-minded people rather than transferring to another company. However, there could be several variables involved."

Previously, Jun Ji-hyun established a one-person agency in September 2010 after leaving her former agency, Sidus HQ. After 14 years since her debut, she created her one-person agency, J&Co, but she soon moved to Culture Warehouse in August 2012, so it did not last long.

Attention is focused on whether the 'free agent catch' Jun Ji-hyun will establish a one-person agency and return to activity after 13 years.

Meanwhile, Jun Ji-hyun is set to release a Disney+ original series, 'Polaris,' in which she stars alongside Gang Dong-won. The story follows an internationally renowned diplomat and former UN ambassador working to uncover the truth behind a massive incident with a mysterious special agent.

Additionally, she is anticipated to make her return to the screen through director Yeon Sang-ho's new work, 'Army,' marking her comeback after 10 years since 'Assassination.'
