Park Won-sook talked about her role as the head of the family among six siblings.
On the 23rd, in the KBS2TV program 'Let's Live Together with Park Won-sook,' she shared her difficult past with her sister Park Myung-sook and shed tears.
Park Won-sook and her sister Park Myung-sook prepared meals for each other. Park Won-sook, looking at her sister, said, "Myung-sook has changed," adding, "In the past, our mother wondered how she would get married."
Park Won-sook said, "In the past, our mother looked at Myung-sook and called her a good-for-nothing. But after she got married, she became the perfect wife." Her sister Park Myung-sook humorously responded, "I tried everything when I was young."
Yoon Da-hoon remarked, looking at Park Won-sook and her sister Park Myung-sook, "You two are so cute." Park Won-sook attracted attention by saying, "I hear I'm cute now that I'm older."
Park Won-sook made kimchi stew for her sister, while sister Myung-sook completed a salad and various European-style tapas. Park Myung-sook tasted the kimchi stew her sister made, exclaiming, "It's so delicious," and seemed happy.
Park Myung-sook said, "It's been a while since I had spicy food, so my nose is running," adding, "In Norway, when I make kimchi, I use more other ingredients because of the garlic smell."
Meanwhile, Park Won-sook lay down with her sister and said, "I have something to apologize to you," recalling their childhood. Park Won-sook stated, "I told those who hadn't paid their tuition to raise their hands and stand in the back. I didn't have that experience, but when Dad passed away, it was tough, and I'm sorry you went through that."
Park Myung-sook reminisced, saying, "When I left Korea in 1986, my sister wasn't shining, but after the 1988 Olympics, she suddenly became famous."
Park Myung-sook expressed her gratitude and regret towards her sister, who struggled as the eldest among six siblings. She said, "We were so busy living our lives that we didn't know about the hardships faced by our sister."
Park Myung-sook said, "I'm so grateful that each of us is living well." Park Won-sook replied, "When you all received 1 million won as allowance, I had to give out 5 million won. Mom said she would buy with the money she received from me." Park Myung-sook remarked, "My sister really suffered a lot."
In an interview with the production team, Park Myung-sook noted, "It's rare to have a sister who gives up everything for you. Even now, she is a great support, like a sturdy beam, helping our mother from behind."
Park Won-sook explained why she invited her sister, who lives in Norway, to Switzerland, saying, "Since you can't come to Seoul, I thought I should see you happily while I'm still alive." Sister Park Myung-sook shed tears as she hugged her sister.
