Singer Psy's agency, P Nation, apologized regarding the controversy over the suggestiveness surrounding its rookie girl group "Baby DONT Cry" and decided to remove the problematic scenes.

P Nation acknowledged in an official statement on the 22nd that it recognized "concerns and controversies raised by some fans and the public" regarding the teaser video of the debut title track "F Girl," stating, "We sincerely apologize to those who felt discomfort or worry due to the video."

"Baby DONT Cry" is a multinational girl group composed of underage members with an average age of 16 to 19. The teaser video for their debut song, released on the 20th, included scenes that featured candy wrappers that resembled male contraceptives and props that evoked menstrual pads, sparking controversy.

P Nation explained, "'F Girl' carries a message of 'please look at me and understand me as I am,' stepping away from criteria set by others based on sexuality (scores like A to F)." They added, "The first scene of the music video depicts a rebellious yet cheerful setting by expressing actions such as 'chewing gum' and 'sucking on candy'; the overall flow and content of the forthcoming music video does not contain any sensational or suggestive depictions whatsoever."

However, as the controversy persisted, P Nation decided to remove the scene from the main version of the music video. The agency explained, "Regardless of the reasons, this decision was made to prevent misunderstandings and controversies beforehand" and stated, "This decision stems from a desire to protect the members of Baby DONT Cry above all and to respect the valuable opinions of fans."
