SEVENTEEN's Hoshi shares his thoughts ahead of his military enlistment in the second half of this year.
The SBS variety show 'Whenever Possible,' which airs on the 24th and is directed by Choi Bo-pil and written by Chae Jin-a, presents a segment that offers luck during brief moments of time encountered in daily life. In episode 27, SEVENTEEN's Hoshi and Mingyu will appear as 'Time Friends,' providing an energetic high-tension chemistry.
That day, Hoshi captivates attention by conveying his inner thoughts ahead of enlistment. This is because the location they visited is Cheorwon, famous for its white skull brigade. When Hoshi salutes and says, “I will be enlisting in the second half of the year!” Yoo Jae-suk responds with applause at the perfect timing, saying, “You made it to Cheorwon today!” It is revealed that even the shop owner they meet is a military supply store owner, to which Hoshi exclaims, “Did you come to Cheorwon for me?” causing laughter.
Following that, the shop owner stirs further attention by presenting a special name tag exclusively for ‘prospective soldier’ Hoshi. Hoshi briefly responds, “I love it!” but upon receiving the name tag with his real name 'Kwon Soon-young' engraved, he expresses a complex reaction, saying, “I’m starting to feel it. It feels like getting a vaccination.” The shop owner then cheekily adds, “Should I overlock it on your clothes now?” reportedly putting Hoshi on edge.
Meanwhile, Hoshi is said to captivate the Cheorwon area with his intense energy, amplifying curiosity. Yoo Jae-suk admires Hoshi’s lively performance, saying, “Hoshi, today is your day.” With this so-called 'Hoshi customized day,' expectations for Hoshi to shine as a symbol of luck during this time segment of 'Whenever Possible' are soaring.
The healing variety show 'Whenever Possible,' which promises even stronger laughter bombarding closely linked to daily life, will air on the 24th (Tuesday) at 9 p.m.
