A person about to get married wants to find their mother, who they lost contact with 36 years ago, and visits "Anything Counsel".
In the 321st episode of KBS Joy's "Anything Counsel" airing on the 23rd, the story of a person looking for their mother, from whom they were separated around the age of 2, will be introduced.
The person begins their story by explaining that they lost their father in a car accident at the age of 2 and were raised by their grandmother. At that time, the young mother was encouraged by the grandmother to marry, and despite their difficult circumstances, she made efforts to ensure her grandchild did not feel the absence of their parents.
However, around the time the person was in 5th grade, their grandmother was placed in a nursing home, and they grew up receiving care from relatives. After graduating high school, they tried to find their mother by obtaining documents from the local government office but could not confirm any information due to the lack of a marriage registration.
Seo Jang-hoon and Lee Sugeun ask, "Has your mother ever tried to find you?" The person recounts a phone call with their mother at night and says they spent a day together but could not meet afterward.
Seo Jang-hoon cautiously predicts the person's mother's situation, saying, "Let me share my speculation." Upon hearing this, the person quietly sheds tears and responds with a short, "That would be the case."
"I understand the longing for your mother, but it must have been an unavoidable choice," he comforts the person, adding, "There’s one way, and that’s for your mother to recognize you" as practical advice.
What advice did the counselors provide? You can find out during the 321st episode of KBS Joy's "Anything Counsel" today (23rd) at 8:30 p.m.
