The girl group Baby DONT Cry, created by Psy, expressed gratitude to producer Jeon So-yeon.
On the 23rd, a debut showcase for Baby DONT Cry was held at Blue Square in Yongsan, Seoul, where the youngest member, Benny, remarked about the producing work of (G)I-DLE's Jeon So-yeon, "It was such an honor. I have always liked the stage and paid close attention to it. I couldn't believe she would be working on our debut album. Since she is a senior girl group member, I felt good that there were many things to learn from her."
Lee Hyun recalled, "Even though we debuted as rookies today, when I first met Producer Jeon So-yeon, I was a trainee. Rather than showing a cute image, she encouraged us to perform with more energy." Japanese member Mia added, "I was very nervous during the recording, and my tension dropped, but she provided mental care. She directed us accurately one by one, and from the first recording, I quickly adapted and felt comfortable," she smiled.
Baby DONT Cry is the first girl group under P Nation, which is led by Psy. It consists of Lee Hyun, Kumi, Mia, and Benny, with Jeon So-yeon from (G)I-DLE serving as the producer. They have armed themselves with a fresh concept called "Girl Gang," breaking the mold of the gentle girl image.
The debut single "F Girl," which will be released at 6 p.m. that day, is characterized by its lively guitar riffs and reflects Baby DONT Cry’s bold attitude against rigid standards that judge people based on sexuality and numbers. Baby DONT Cry plans to firmly convey the message of respecting oneself as they are.
