The group BABYMONSTER has revealed the title poster for their pre-release single ‘HOT SAUCE’ for the first time, kicking off their comeback on July 1.
YG Entertainment posted ‘I’m like ‘HOT SAUCE’ on their official blog on the 23rd. The colorful electronic billboard logo and the members’ unique visuals perfectly harmonize in the image.
BABYMONSTER captured attention instantly with playful expressions and free-spirited gestures. In particular, the styling utilizing retro primary colors modernly reinterprets the 1980s old-school hip-hop vibe, amplifying their unique personality.
The electronic billboard logo, contrasting against a white background, also left a strong impression. The bright and vivid colors of the logo suggest a ‘hot’ mood for the summer track, raising expectations for how these members, who have proven their limitless concept adaptability with their ever-changing charms, will transform.
BABYMONSTER’s pre-release single ‘HOT SAUCE’ will be released on July 1 at 6 p.m. Previously, Yang Hyun-suk, the executive producer, noted, “This was prepared as a gift with the hope that everyone enjoys this summer,” and described it as “an addictive hip-hop track from the mid to late 1980s.”
Additionally, plans for the activities of BABYMONSTER, which will be tightly unfolded throughout this year, were also revealed. Following this comeback, a roadmap has been announced, leading to a second single in September and a mini album in October, drawing attention to BABYMONSTER’s upcoming vibrant activities.
The activities of BABYMONSTER for ‘HOT SAUCE’ will proceed with six members: Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rora, and Chiquita, excluding Rami. YG stated, “Rami is in a situation where she still needs sufficient time for recovery. As this decision prioritizes the artist’s health, we ask for your generous understanding,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to support Rami’s recovery and BABYMONSTER’s activities.”
