Cho Yi-hyun and Choo Young-Woo have an unusual first meeting in "Gyeonwoo and the Fairy."

The production team of the tvN drama "Gyeonwoo and the Fairy," which premieres on the 23rd, has unveiled stills that forecast the dizzying first meeting and exciting reunion between Park Seong-ah (played by Cho Yi-hyun) and Bae Gyeon-woo (played by Choo Young-Woo). The drama is directed by Kim Yong-wan and penned by Yang Ji-hoon, with production by Studio Dragon, DEXTER Pictures, and Eo Contents Group.

"Gyeonwoo and the Fairy" depicts the fearless first love rescue romance of a boy with a death destiny and an MZ shaman girl trying to prevent it. It tells the story of high school shaman Park Seong-ah, who fights against fate for her first love, and Bae Gyeon-woo, who will defy destiny through the ordinary happiness she offers him, promising fresh excitement. Most notably, director Kim Yong-wan, who has showcased excellent directing skills across various genres such as "Windfall," "Method," and "If You Speak Your Wish," joins forces with the delicately skilled writer Yang Ji-hoon, raising expectations.

Amid the anticipation and excitement toward the premiere, the dizzying first encounter between Park Seong-ah and Bae Gyeon-woo draws attention. Bae Gyeon-woo appears in the temple of the "Heavenly Fairy" Park Seong-ah. Captivated by Bae Gyeon-woo's dangerously appealing visuals, Park Seong-ah's unusual expression hints at the beginning of an extraordinary first love. Just as she is momentarily entranced, Park Seong-ah gazes into the ominous future of Bae Gyeon-woo, who is born to misfortune. Her abrupt action of grabbing the hand of Grandma Oh Ok-soon (played by Kil Hae-yeon) leaves Bae Gyeon-woo astonished. The reason for Bae Gyeon-woo's apparent surprise, as he seldom reveals his emotions, raises curiosity about their first meeting.

The exciting reunion between Park Seong-ah and Bae Gyeon-woo has also been captured. It's intriguing to see Park Seong-ah, who first removes her shaman dress and returns to being an ordinary high school student. Switching between student life and being a Heavenly Fairy, she is in a double life. The person who jolted her awake while she was dozing at her desk is none other than transfer student Bae Gyeon-woo. Unlike Park Seong-ah, who is wide-eyed at Bae Gyeon-woo's unexpected entrance in the Heavenly Fairy temple, Bae Gyeon-woo's calm yet cold gaze draws attention. It raises high expectations for how the MZ shaman girl and the boy born to misfortune will become each other's saviors and develop their first love.

The production team stated, "In the first episode airing today (23rd), Park Seong-ah's unusual first love begins. Please look forward to how the first love rescue romance of Seong-ah and Gyeon-woo, who overcome the limitations of 'a doomed fate' and face crises, is portrayed."

Meanwhile, the tvN drama "Gyeonwoo and the Fairy" will premiere today (23rd) at 8:50 p.m.
