The group MAMAMOO member Solar successfully wrapped up her solo fan concert in Taipei.
Solar held her solo fan concert 'Solar FAN CONCERT 'Floating Free: Between' in TAIPEI' (hereinafter 'Floating Free: Between') on the 22nd in Taipei.
On this day, Solar led the fan concert from start to finish in Chinese without an interpreter and received great responses from local fans. Various segments were prepared to achieve consolidation with the Taipei Yongsun (fandom name) beyond borders and cultures. There were moments to deepen mutual understanding, such as 'Between O and X,' where fans answered questions related to Taipei, and 'Floating Free: Solar's Phone,' where fans learned about Solar's TMI information by looking at her phone screen.
The aspect of 'Believing Solar' could also be confirmed. Solar selected her representative songs 'WANT', 'Honey', 'Spit It Out', and 'Colors' to showcase her diverse charms. Sometimes intensely and sometimes softly, she touched the hearts of the listeners. Furthermore, Solar exhibited her exceptional fan love by performing a cover of Bishop Briggs' 'River' and 'LOVE ME TRUE' by the local popular group Power Station (動力火車) during 'Begin Again Open Mic'.
In particular, the Taipei indie music scene's representative singer-songwriter 9m88, who collaborated with her on the Chinese single 'Floating Free,' made a guest appearance to perform a duet with Solar. This was the first time the two sang 'Floating Free' together on stage. They showcased their fantastic chemistry while sharing behind-the-scenes stories of the Chinese single production.
After finishing the Taipei fan concert, Solar expressed, "Thanks to Yongsun, every moment on stage was joyful. I hope that whenever you find it hard to get through a day, you remember today’s moment. Even if we are in different spaces, we are always beings that give each other strength. We will continue to be connected through music."
Solar achieved remarkable results, including ranking first on the Taipei iTunes 'Top Songs' chart, first on the Taipei's largest music platform KKBOX Top Trending Songs chart, and second on the Taipei YouTube music video trending chart, following the release of her Chinese single 'Floating Free.'
