Singer Park Ji-hyun concluded her nationwide concert tour with a final encore performance in Seoul.
Park successfully wrapped up the epic journey of her first solo concert with the 'SHOWMANSHIP' encore show held from the 20th to the 22nd at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul.
The performance took place three times: on the 20th at 7 p.m., and on the 21st and 22nd at 4 p.m. Park connected with the audience over approximately 180 minutes of rich song selection, a well-crafted stage composition, and warm showmanship.
The show kicked off with a glamorous opening performance, and when Park appeared on a lift and sang her hit song 'Please Turn on the Turn Signal,' cheers erupted from the audience.
Continuing with 'You Who Cannot Leave,' Park expressed her feelings about the encore performance and promised a wonderful stage until the end, before belting out 'Empty Glass.' She conducted an interview segment with the audience, getting even closer to them.
She showcased various songs including 'Woman of CAS Corporation,' 'Only the Brave Can Be Beautiful,' 'Woman of Flower Wind,' 'Hateful Love,' 'Miss Go,' 'By Your Side,' and 'Flower Road.' With her exceptional vocal ability and elegant stage manner, she heated up the atmosphere of the performance.
The dance performance of 'Adult Ceremony' and 'Honey,' which simultaneously conveyed cuteness and sexiness, also stood out. Notably, on the last day of the show, she surprised everyone by performing her new song 'I Melt' live, ahead of its release on the 30th.
With the screening of the 'Youth Rest Stop' VCR, Park reappeared on stage with her dance team and presented the 'Youth Rest Stop Medley' ('What Does My Age Matter?', 'I Like You,' 'Love Triangle,' 'Bongsunhwa Love,' 'Older Brother,' 'Nest') with dynamic choreography, raising the excitement to its peak.
A VCR parody of the movie 'Tazza' triggered a warm response from fans as Park sang consecutively the title track 'Sea Man' and the included song 'Parting at the Port' from her new mini album released in January.
Then, she selected songs loved by fans such as 'Foolish Man,' 'Weeds,' and 'Rain Falls on a Man's Heart,' evoking emotions with her rich voice.
After a VCR showing stories from her parents, Park passionately sang 'Mammo,' 'Unturnable Time,' and 'Mokpo Blues,' touching the audience's sensitivity with a narratively rich performance.
As the nightclub lights came on, she presented a medley ('I’m Okay,' 'Glamorous Single,' 'Before I Become Sad,' 'Gungtari Shabara,' and 'Lovers in the Rain') along with grand sounds, creating a party-like atmosphere.
For the last song, she belted out 'Don’t Leave Me,' responding to the cheers of the audience calling for an encore by performing 'We Will Make It' and 'When This Night Passes.'
She expressed her feelings of regret about parting, sharing her thoughts during the nationwide tour, and conveyed heartfelt gratitude to fans across the country. Finally, she sent the audience off by singing 'I’m Happy When You Smile.'
Thus, Park Ji-hyun's first solo concert 'SHOWMANSHIP,' which began in Seoul last February, successfully concluded the four-month journey with performances in Daegu, Mokpo, Suwon, Gwangju, Daejeon, Jeonju, and Busan, culminating in the Seoul encore show.
