As the group BABYMONSTER prepares for their comeback with 'HOT SAUCE', they are attracting attention for their performance video, which continues to accumulate views in the hundreds of millions on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment on the 23rd, the performance video for BABYMONSTER's official debut song 'SHEESH' surpassed 200 million views on YouTube at around 6:04 a.m. on that day. This achievement comes approximately one year and two months after its release on April 5.

Considering that this is a choreography video rather than an official music video, it is an exceptional achievement. BABYMONSTER is solidifying their presence as the 'next-generation YouTube queen' while increasing their influence within YouTube, the center of the global music market. Their official channel currently has 9.43 million subscribers, and their total views have exceeded 4.7 billion.

With this, BABYMONSTER now holds five videos over 200 million views among a total of ten YouTube contents with views in the hundreds of millions. Previously, 'SHEESH' (300 million), which broke the record for the shortest time for a K-pop girl group debut song, along with 'BATTER UP' (300 million), 'FOREVER' (200 million), and 'DRIP' (200 million) music videos achieved the same view counts.

The 'SHEESH' performance video has received acclaim for enhancing BABYMONSTER's delicate expressiveness and maximizing the charm of the performance itself. The 'SHEESH' track has ranked high on various global charts, including Billboard and Spotify, contributing to a consistent rise in the popularity of the video.

BABYMONSTER is set to make a comeback with the pre-release single 'HOT SAUCE' on July 1. Previously, Yang Hyun-suk, the general producer, noted, "I prepared it as a gift hoping that you have an enjoyable summer," describing it as "an addictive hip-hop track from the mid to late 1980s," generating excitement among music fans.

BABYMONSTER is currently on their first-ever world tour, conducting a total of 32 performances across 20 cities worldwide. Additionally, they plan to continue their busy schedule with the release of their second single in September and a mini-album in October.
