In 'Baekban Gihaeng', the KBS broadcaster and host Kang Soo-jung's $10 million APT. in Hong Kong was mentioned.

On the episode aired on the 22nd, the TV Chosun entertainment program 'Sikgaek Heo Young-man's Baekban Gihaeng (abbreviated as Baekban Gihaeng)' No. 301 featured a special overseas segment in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong episode of 'Baekban Gihaeng' was the third overseas special, following previous episodes in Niigata and Tokushima. In this context, Heo Young-man, the artist, traveled to Hong Kong with renowned Chinese chef Lu Ching Lai and culinary researcher Hong Sin-ae.

The globally renowned Chinese chef Lu Ching Lai, who is of Chinese descent, and culinary researcher Hong Sin-ae appeared to be familiar with the gastronomic city of Hong Kong due to their profession. They introduced the various places in Hong Kong to Heo Young-man, the artist, who was visiting for the first time, naturally guiding him through.

Before embarking on a full-scale culinary journey, the iconic Victoria Peak Tram captured attention. The Peak Tram, which ascends steeply through the forest, showcased Hong Kong's affluent neighborhoods, evoking admiration.

Heo Young-man, the artist, said, "There are APT.s here too," expressing surprise. To this, Hong Sin-ae replied, "APT.s here are ridiculously expensive," emphasizing it as the "wealthiest neighborhood."

He further explained, "Celebrities like Stephen Chow, Tony Leung, Chow Yun-fat, and Jackie Chan all have houses or villas here," which evoked astonishment. He also added, "Kang Soo-jung, the announcer, lives here as well."

Kang Soo-jung is a broadcaster who previously worked as a KBS announcer and married a finance worker of Korean-American descent in 2008. It is reported that she has one son and resides in the representative affluent area of Repulse Bay in Hong Kong. The property prices there are known to be around 8 billion won, which was astonishing news.

In response, Heo Young-man, the artist, expressed curiosity about the real estate prices in Hong Kong's affluent areas. Chef Lu Ching Lai revealed, "Here, the price starts at over 10 billion won," adding more shock. He also noted, "It’s a typical wealthy neighborhood where rich people live."
