Shinji, a member of the mixed group Koyote, is getting married to singer Mun-won, who is 7 years younger. The two met through a radio program and have been in a relationship, planning to hold their wedding in the first half of next year.
Koyote's agency announced on the 23rd that Shinji will hold a wedding ceremony in a location in Seoul in the first half of next year and that wedding photos were taken that day.
The two are said to have built their relationship after meeting for the first time through MBC Radio’s 'Lee Yoon-seok and Shinji’s Single-Bungle Show.' Shinji hosted the program for about two and a half years, from early 2021 until June 2023.
The two, who were singer seniors and juniors, became closer through the show and developed their relationship into a romance that led to marriage. Ahead of the wedding, they plan to release a duet song titled 'Shalaka Dula' on the 26th. The agency introduced the song as one that captures the clumsy and fluttering emotions of the moment love approached like magic.
Shinji debuted in 1998 with the group Koyote, releasing numerous hit songs such as 'Pure Love,' 'Heartbreak,' and 'Blue,' and has been loved by the public for over 20 years. Mun-won debuted in 2012 with 'Live with Me' and gained recognition by appearing in JTBC's 'Hidden Singer Season 1' with Yoon Min-soo and in MBC's 'Trot National Competition.'
