J-Hope of BTS reminisced about his military days.
In the episode of the MBC variety show 'Omniscient Interfering View' aired on the 21st, actor Choi Kang-hee and J-Hope of BTS appeared.
J-Hope headed to a night market with the staff. J-Hope appeared excited, saying, 'I had a fantasy about what it would feel like.'
J-Hope talked about his military experiences while dining with the staff. He reminisced about his time in the military, explaining, 'During training, I was eating, and it was so delicious. They served things like spicy rice cakes. I thought I should be here. I wanted to become a drill instructor. After studying for a month, you take an evaluation. If you pass, you become a drill instructor.'
J-Hope mentioned that a junior from the military attended a concert, saying, 'I was surprised. It's embarrassing to say it myself, but I did well in the military.' He stated that he maintained a good relationship with his comrades.
J-Hope said, 'When I reached the position of sergeant, my peers suggested going on a trip. I felt sorry that I couldn't go. I offered to cover your total expense. I entered the military as a public figure. I thought that the military experiences and memories could become topics for drinking sessions with friends, and they could become good memories. I wanted to be closer with my friends.' He noted that they still keep in touch.
