The group BTOB members Seo Eunkwang, Lee Min-hyuk, Lim Hyun-sik, and Peniel exhibited a special presence befitting a 'trustworthy listening group.'
BTOB won the K-POP Special Award at the 34th Seoul Music Awards held at the Inspire Arena in Incheon on the 21st.
The 'Seoul Music Awards' is a prestigious and traditional award ceremony in Korea that has been held since 1990, showcasing the stages of K-pop artists who have excelled throughout the year. This year, it was even more meaningful as it coincided with the 40th anniversary of Sports Seoul.
That day, BTOB, which was honored with the K-POP Special Award selected by the judges, said, "We sincerely thank you. Thanks to this, it will be remembered as a special day. We will sing with sincerity so that every time you listen to BTOB’s music, it can be a special moment. Above all, we thank our beloved Melody (the official fan club name)."
After receiving the award, BTOB presented a flawless live performance of their title track 'Love Today' from their EP album 'BTODAY,' released in March. The specially added string arrangement highlighted BTOB's beautiful melodies and heartfelt vocals even more.
Additionally, they raised the mood of the venue by presenting their representative song 'Missing You', which received great love from global fans. They proved the true worth of being a 'trustworthy listening group' by bringing explosive cheers with their fantastic melodies and performances like never before.
Furthermore, Seo Eunkwang also showcased a special stage that could only be seen at the 'Seoul Music Awards.' He displayed his sweet tones and refreshing singing abilities without reservation through a cover of Shin Seung-hun's 'You Reflected in My Smile,' and he captivated the audience with an impressive collaborative performance of 'To the Lady' with Byun Jin-seob, the recipient of the Grand Prize at the 1st Seoul Music Awards.
Meanwhile, BTOB successfully concluded their tour '2025 BTOB FAN-CON '3,2,1 GO! MELympic'' in Jakarta, Indonesia, on the 7th.
