Jung-woo, the son of Kim Joon-ho, was identified as a top 1% gifted child.
On the 22nd, a video featuring Kim Joon-ho and his second son Jung-woo visiting a growth center was released on KBS's YouTube channel.
25-month-old Jung-woo underwent various tests at the growth center, including vision tests, body measurements such as height and weight, and specialized developmental assessments. It turned out that all of this was part of a process for a sports gifted assessment.
Kim Joon-ho noted, "I think Jung-woo has the DNA for sports. Many people around have said, 'Shouldn't he be trained in sports?' So, we went to the growth center to receive professional data."
An expert who analyzed all the results emphasized, "Having seen data from almost 90,000 children over the past 13 years, I believe Jung-woo is in the top 1%. Core strength, coordination, confidence, agility, explosiveness, height, weight— he can simply be seen as in the top 1%." Olympic gold medalist in fencing Kim Joon-ho reflected deeply, saying, "Ah~ should he really be trained in sports?"
Meanwhile, Jung-woo, Kim Joon-ho's second son, recently ranked 6th in the non-drama category for public interest among participants in a survey conducted by K-Content popularity research company Good Day, which was announced on the 17th for the week of June 2nd (2025.06.09~2025.06.15). He stood alongside popular stars such as J-Hope from BTS and actor Park Jung-min, earning recognition as the youngest popular star.
