The group ILLIT achieved two awards at the music awards ceremony, continuing their trend of popularity.

ILLIT (Yoona, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, Iloha) received the 'Main Award' along with the 'Best Group Award,' which is given to the best group of 2024, at the 34th Seoul Music Awards held on the 21st at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon.

ILLIT noted, 'Thanks to GLLIT (the fandom name) who always support and love us unconditionally, we could receive this glorious award. We are grateful for being the reason for our existence,' and added, 'We will continue to strive to be proud singers for GLLIT and not lose our original intention. We will work harder to be ILLIT, delivering positive energy.'

On this day, ILLIT showcased their debut track and mega hit 'Magnetic' and the title track 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)' from their recently released third mini album in succession. As the intro of 'Magnetic' played, cheers erupted from the audience, and the members displayed lively charm with improved stage manners.

'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)' delighted fans with a charming magical girl vibe. The addictive hook, a trademark of ILLIT's songs, and the unique lyrics like a magic spell got the audience moving. The entire performance, including elaborate turn movements and dance moves expressing a cat's nimble gestures, captivated the audience.

ILLIT captured the trend with their quirky charm and addictive music since their debut in March last year. In February this year, 'Almond Chocolate,' the theme song for a Japanese film and ILLIT's first original song in Japan, generated buzz and made a splash on local music charts despite being a special activity. Their third mini album, 'bomb,' is also gaining popularity. The new release topped the Hanteo chart's daily album chart immediately after its release on the 16th and reached second place in the Japanese Oricon 'Daily Album Ranking.' The title track 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)' entered the Melon 'Top 100' shortly after its release and topped the rapidly rising chart on Japanese AWA music, receiving a positive response.

ILLIT is active in various web entertainment programs, including music broadcasts. They will perform their new song stage on SBS 'Inkigayo' today (22nd).
