'Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2' Park Jeong-soo showcased a completely free entertainment sense during the food trip in Chungcheongnam-do with Jun Hyun-moo and Gwak Tube.
In the 34th episode of the full-fledged real street food documentary 'Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2' (co-produced by MBN and Channel S) aired on the 20th, the food trip unfolded as Jun Hyun-moo and Gwak Tube (Gwak Jun-bin) teamed up with 'the queen of sitcoms,' Park Jeong-soo, to sweep Chungcheongnam-do. They explored a chicken soup restaurant in Dangjin, a 100% soybean noodle restaurant made with three types of Dangjin beans, and a local dish restaurant in Taean known for crab soup and rockfish soup, providing viewers with delightful entertainment and information.
In Dangjin, the '49th street' in Chungcheongnam-do, Jun Hyun-moo and Gwak Tube went to enjoy chicken soup as their first meal. At this popular restaurant bustling with customers from all over the country since morning, the two greeted the 'single menu' chicken soup and dove into the eating show. During this, Jun Hyun-moo poured in a copious amount of Cheongyang chili peppers and pepper, showing off his 'spicy pride,' which made Gwak Tube laugh as he commented, 'When people around ask about you, they say you are someone who enjoys spicy food.' However, as Jun Hyun-moo kept adding Cheongyang peppers, Gwak Tube pointedly commented, 'Isn’t this a disrespect to the chef?' and made the scene explosive.
After warming up with chicken soup, Jun Hyun-moo noted, 'The second food is cool soybean noodles,' and hinted, 'Today's eating friend is the queen of sitcoms!' Soon after, the two moved to a famous 'mugwort soybean noodle' restaurant in Dangjin to meet their 'eating friend' Park Jeong-soo. As soon as Park Jeong-soo sat down, she pulled out a comb and styled her hair, displaying an unusual relaxed aura. Upon seeing this, Gwak Tube asked, 'Isn’t that all your hair?' and Park Jeong-soo responded, 'It's all my hair~' and added, 'I am relatively healthy. Our outside person is surprised that I can quickly run 100m, saying, 'You run well,' referring to '24 Years Lover' director Jeong Eul-young, who is also the father of actor Jung Kyung-ho.
Meanwhile, in response to the question 'How many years have you been acting?' Park Jeong-soo replied, 'I joined as a talent in the 5th public recruitment of MBC in 1972. Currently, my peers (the late) Doo-shim and Lee Gye-in are still around.' To this, Jun Hyun-moo asked, 'I heard that Lee Gye-in-sunbaenim had a crush on you,' and Park Jeong-soo laughed, saying, 'At that time, I was busy with school and broadcasting.' The conversation shifted to another topic. At that moment, the 'mugwort soybean noodles' garnished with a generous amount of perilla powder were served, impressing all three.
After enjoying the cool soybean noodles, the three continued to blossom with conversation even in the car heading to the next location. Jun Hyun-moo remarked, 'I can understand why Lee Gye-in-sunbaenim had a crush on you,' showing a past photo of Park Jeong-soo. Park Jeong-soo explained, 'It looks like a photo from when I was a 21-year-old rookie,' and Gwak Tube praised, 'You look like a contemporary beauty, not a classical beauty. You resemble Go Youn-jung.' During this, Jun Hyun-moo unexpectedly asked, 'Did you meet Director Jeong Eul-young while working on a project?' Park Jeong-soo replied, 'I met him while filming the drama 'Who Will I Love,' but he bothered me so much, and I got really angry. However, I think that was his plan.' This got everyone laughing.
A little later, the three arrived in a quiet neighborhood in Taean, Chungcheongnam-do, and ordered 'local foods' crab soup, a crab stew, and soy sauce seasoned crabs. Park Jeong-soo, who was continuously devouring the crab stew full of roe, revealed her ambition, saying, 'What if I join 'Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2' as a fixed mother role?' Immediately, she served crab meat to Jun Hyun-moo and Gwak Tube like a mother, saying, 'Eat a lot and get married.' However, Park Jeong-soo candidly expressed her opinion on Jun Hyun-moo's 'marriage bias,' saying, 'But I feel like Jun Hyun-moo wouldn't seem like he’d fall short in a relationship; he seems like he would prioritize himself.' When Jun Hyun-moo looked flustered, Park Jeong-soo cheerfully concluded, 'But I think he will get married within 5 years.'
As the food trip with Park Jeong-soo came to an end, the food trip scene of Jun Hyun-moo and Gwak Tube searching for the remaining treasure restaurants in Chungcheongnam-do will continue in the 35th episode of 'Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2,' co-produced by MBN and Channel S, airing at 9:10 p.m. on the 27th.
