At first, Jo Jin-hyung slowed down. He received first aid due to cramps in his legs. Lee Jang-jun, known as the hope of the marathon, continued to walk with increasingly slower steps. Lee Jang-jun reflected, "I had foot surgery when I was a trainee. I rested for half a year then. The company even tried to eliminate me from debuting at that time. I remembered that moment."
Lee Jang-jun said, "As the members are off finding their own lives, I have also come here for my own path. I will wish for Golden Child to reunite by running this marathon." He also noted, "I have the will and intention, but like how I almost couldn't debut because of my foot, I thought, 'What if I can't run this full marathon too?' and I experienced a mental breakdown, but somehow I started to run again, leading my legs.
