MBC 'Home Alone' featured Kim Dae-ho, Ok Ja-yeon, and Code Kunst discovering innocent childlike joy and chemistry on their nature exploration titled 'Code Name: Nature.' Observing curious moss and creatures, the three looked as happy as children, bringing smiles to viewers. Additionally, Ahn Jae-hyun's struggles while going up and down 20 floors of stairs due to elevator construction provided unexpected laughter for viewers, experiencing heaven and hell.
On the 20th, MBC 'Home Alone' (directed by Heo Hang, Kang Ji-hee, Park Su-bin, Kim Jin-kyung, Lee Kyung-eun, Moon Gi-young) revealed a day in the life of Kim Dae-ho, Ok Ja-yeon, and Code Kunst, who love nature, on their nature exploration, as well as Ahn Jae-hyun entering 'stair hell' due to elevator replacement work at APT.
According to a Nielsen Korea rating survey on the 21st, the household rating for the previous day's 'Home Alone' was 5.0% in the Seoul metropolitan area, ranking first among Friday entertainment programs. Additionally, the 2049 rating, a key indicator for advertising stakeholders and assessing channel competitiveness, was 2.9% (based on Seoul metropolitan area), making it the top program overall on Friday.
The best moment was when Kim Dae-ho, Ok Ja-yeon, and Code Kunst, who formed 'Code Name: Nature,' joined a group of experts in the 'Nature Expedition Team' and introduced themselves (23:28, 23:36). Kim Dae-ho introduced himself as 'Pul Kim,' Ok Ja-yeon as 'Ok Ja,' and Code Kunst as 'Ko Sung-yi,' making everyone laugh, and the ratings peaked at 6.2%.
Nature lovers Kim Dae-ho, Ok Ja-yeon, and Code Kunst gathered as members of the 'Code Name: Nature' crew. Especially, Kim Dae-ho, who organized this meeting, expressed excitement and anticipation about their meeting by saying, 'This is destiny.' Even while heading to the nature exploration site, the members of 'Code Name: Nature' constantly engaged in 'nature talk,' with Kim Dae-ho looking nervous and flustered sitting next to Ok Ja-yeon, who was driving.
The three joined the 'Nature Expedition Team,' consisting of experts in various fields such as vivarium, reptiles, amphibians, and animals. After completing an orientation on the nature exploration, which involved collecting and observing creatures from nature, including moss, and photographing them before releasing them, they set off for the actual exploration.
While exploring valleys and downstream rivers, they became immersed in the charm of 'nature exploration,' discovering native mosses, indigenous frogs, and rare endangered species like the Korean brown frog and the national monument species. With Kim Dae-ho experiencing nature with his whole body, Ok Ja-yeon passionately bringing out the camera, and Code Kunst displaying his hunter instincts, they each explored in different ways, but their curious gazes and happy smiles resembled innocent children.
While enjoying water activities after the nature exploration, a moment was revealed where Kim Dae-ho held onto Ok Ja-yeon's hand as she almost fell into the swift water, prompting viewers to wonder, 'What are they looking at?' Kim Dae-ho and Ok Ja-yeon both quickly clarified, saying, 'The current is really fast,' which elicited laughter. The preview that followed captured their subtle tension, raising anticipation for what situation might unfold.
Meanwhile, Ahn Jae-hyun shared his daily life going up and down the 20 floors of stairs due to elevator replacement work at APT., depicting his experiences of 'heaven and hell.' Carrying a load of recyclable waste down the stairs for separation, Ahn Jae-hyun remarked, '20 floors, that's nothing,' stating that he had been working out to prepare for this moment. However, not long after, he staggered and plopped down on a chair midway up the stairs, making everyone laugh.
Ahn Jae-hyun's hardships didn't end there. Unexpectedly encountering a cockroach while organizing the mailbox shocked him. As he climbed the 20 floors of stairs, he was consumed with thoughts of getting rid of the cockroach and returned to the mailbox after thorough preparations. He bounced around, looking for the cockroach, and finally broke into a relieved smile at the sight of the empty mailbox.
Ahn Jae-hyun noted, 'I feel like I need to exercise to maintain a healthy body,' drawing attention as he sought out a gym. Sweating from going up and down the 20 floors of stairs, he further added leg exercises to taste the flavor of hell. While doing a 120 kg leg press, he humorously stated, 'This is nothing. My life has been harder,' leading to bursts of laughter.
After working out, he truly indulged himself, devouring braised short ribs and soy sauce marinated crabs, finishing off the dishes, and headed to a convenience store to buy essential living supplies. Unexpectedly increasing his load with a 'buy one get one free' event, he also discovered an unexpected kimchi delivery, eliciting both disappointment and laughter. Additionally, he demonstrated a warm thoughtfulness by placing snack bags on every other landing of the stairs for neighbors who may struggle more than he does.
Next week, 'Code Name: Nature' featuring Kim Dae-ho, Ok Ja-yeon, and Code Kunst's subtle (?) nature exploration Part 2 and the return of Jun Hyun-moo, Park Na-rae, and Lee Jang-woo's culinary tour in Turkey were previewed, raising anticipation.
