Former The Boys member Joo Hak-nyeon and former Japanese adult film actress influencer Asuka Kirara have both stepped forward to refute allegations of prostitution. Asuka Kirara stated, “I have never received money in exchange for sexual acts in my life,” directly addressing the malicious rumors.

Asuka Kirara stated on her social media early on the 21st, “There are various baseless speculations circulating, but the article from Shūkan Bunshun has not yet been released. Please do not spread false information.”

Earlier, on the 18th, a questionnaire from the Japanese weekly magazine Shūkan Bunshun was leaked, raising allegations of a social gathering involving Asuka Kirara and Joo Hak-nyeon in Tokyo. According to local media reports, the two reportedly engaged in physical contact, and a tipster claimed to have provided photos to the media.

As the controversy spread, Asuka Kirara broke her silence, emphasizing, "I have never received money for sexual acts privately." She further claimed, “That day was a gathering introduced by acquaintances, and it seems the woman I met for the first time liked Mr. Hak-nyeon. That photo was sold to Shūkan Bunshun.”

Joo Hak-nyeon also dismissed the allegations in a handwritten message dated May 30, stating, “It was a gathering with acquaintances, and there were no illegal activities, including prostitution.” However, the suspicions did not subside, and eventually, the agency One Hundred said, “Recognizing the gravity of the matter, we discussed with the members and decided to terminate Joo Hak-nyeon’s team membership and exclusive contract.”

In response, Joo Hak-nyeon issued another statement, asserting, "I have never voluntarily withdrawn from the team, and I did not agree to the contract termination. The agency is citing groundless reasons for the termination." He added, “If there is evidence related to prostitution, please reveal it immediately,” warning of legal action.

As the controversy continued, the agency stated, “The contract termination was a legitimate action based on the terms of the agreement,” adding, “Joo Hak-nyeon’s unilateral assertions and distortions are being repeated. We will resolutely respond using all necessary legal means.

As of now, no official reports have been released from Shūkan Bunshun. Amid conflicting claims from the parties involved, this incident appears to be escalating into a battle over the truth.

Please do not spread false information.

I have never received money in exchange for sexual acts in my life.

Of course, not even this time.

It seems that the woman I met for the first time there liked Mr. Hak-nyeon, so the photo was taken and sold to Shūkan Bunshun.
