Actor Lee Jang-woo and Jo Hye-won are getting married after 7 years of dating.

According to OSEN on the 21st, Lee Jang-woo and Jo Hye-won will hold their wedding on November 23 at a location in Seoul. Having been in a long-term relationship, the two recently confirmed their wedding date based on their deep trust and affection for each other.

Previously, Lee Jang-woo and Jo Hye-won acknowledged their relationship in June 2023 and started dating publicly. The two, who appeared together in the KBS2 weekend drama 'My Only One' that ended in March 2019, have developed their romance and nurtured their love by traveling together over the past 7 years. Recently, Jo Hye-won even visited Lee Jang-woo's newly opened store to show her support.

In particular, shortly after acknowledging their romance, Lee Jang-woo, who won the Best Award at the '2023 MBC Entertainment Awards', said, "My parents in Mungyeong are constantly pressuring me to get married. Winning this award makes me feel like I should live alone a bit longer. What should I do? My girlfriend is working hard, but I feel like we have to postpone the wedding a little. Can I do just a bit more of the 'Home Alone' program?" making the audience laugh with his witty acceptance speech.

Later, when asked about his girlfriend's reaction to his acceptance speech on 'Home Alone', he said, "My girlfriend was very touched. We hadn't promised to get married yet, but she was grateful that I said such things first." Lee Jang-woo, who jokingly said, "I think we have to postpone the wedding a little," made a bombshell declaration on December of last year, exactly one year later, during MBC's 'Village Chief Lee Jang-woo', stating, "I'm preparing (for the wedding) next year."

Moreover, on 'Plan 2 with Jeon Hyun-moo' aired in January, he specified the wedding date, saying, "I think I’ll get married around this fall," and also asked Jeon Hyun-moo to officiate or host the ceremony. Jeon Hyun-moo replied, "I have never done an officiating ceremony before. I will sing a congratulatory song, but the groom should sing it himself," bringing laughter.

In the meantime, it has been confirmed that Lee Jang-woo and Jo Hye-won have set their wedding date for November 23. The wedding ceremony will be held privately. Only their families and close friends will be invited to the quiet ceremony. Given that the two have had a beautiful relationship for a long time, many people are sending their congratulations as they embark on this new chapter of life as a married couple.

Meanwhile, as Lee Jang-woo announced his plans to marry Jo Hye-won, there has been ongoing interest in whether he will leave 'Home Alone'. Earlier, the 'Home Alone' team cautiously stated that "there has been no discussion about Lee Jang-woo's departure." However, in a preview for 'Home Alone' released on the 20th, he tearfully bid farewell, saying, "I think this is the last for palm oil. I feel really sad and disappointed, but I sincerely thank him for his endless love," reigniting departure rumors.

In connection with this, OSEN confirmed that this is only the last meeting of the palm oil group and there is no confirmed departure from 'Home Alone'. Lee Jang-woo will continue to be part of 'Home Alone' until his wedding.

Meanwhile, Lee Jang-woo, born in 1986, debuted in 2006 with the drama '90 Days, Time to Love'. He has appeared in 'Suspicious Three Brothers', 'Smile Dong-hae', 'Ojakgyo Brothers', 'A Rose in the Twilight', 'My Only One', 'Nobleman Ryu's Wedding', 'Oh! Samgwang Villa!', and 'Holy Idol', and is currently active as the 'Palm Oil Prince' character on 'Home Alone'. Besides acting, he has also achieved great success in the food industry and is preparing for the first broadcast of MBN’s new entertainment show 'Do You Know Home Cooked Meals' in July.

Jo Hye-won, born in 1994, debuted with the movie 'Honsum' in 2016 and has appeared in 'Perfume', 'Day and Night', 'Mine', 'Military Prosecutor Doberman', and 'Queenmaker'.
