The group ILLIT captivated global music fans with their exciting new song stage.

ILLIT (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) performed the title track “Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)” from their mini album “bomb” on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on the 19th.

That day, ILLIT made everyone entranced with their enchanting appearance. They presented a performance that resembled the lush forest in the title track music video, wearing green outfits reminiscent of Tinker Bell. This, combined with cat-ear headbands and other accessories, accentuated their refreshing visuals.

The performance showcasing the cat’s agile movements amplified ILLIT’s lovely charm. The point choreography matched the melody and lyrics that linger in one’s ears, creating a powerful addiction, captivating fans' tastes. ILLIT is attracting attention in every web content they participate in, climbing the YouTube Korea “Trending Videos” chart. Wonhee appeared on beauty YouTuber Risabae’s YouTube channel “RISABAE” on the 18th, showcasing her striking transformation with bold cat makeup. On the same day, the performance video of “Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)” uploaded on “Studio Dance” has also garnered a positive response with its captivating performance. The title track music video quickly rose in views upon release, ranking 2nd in YouTube’s “Trending Videos” and continues to maintain a spot in the top rankings.

ILLIT’s mini album “bomb” is making a mark on both domestic and international charts. The new release ranked 1st on the Hanteo daily album chart on the first day of release and reached 2nd on the Japan Oricon “Daily Album Ranking”. ILLIT’s steady rise is evident as they break previous first-day sales records in both Korea and Japan. The title track “Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)” is also enjoying smooth sailing after entering Melon’s “Top 100” upon release. It hit 1st place on Japan’s AWA music rising chart.

ILLIT will appear on KBS2’s “Music Bank” today (20th) and MBC’s “Show! Music Core” on the 21st, followed by SBS’s “Inkigayo” on the 22nd. As they embark on a full-scale music broadcasting schedule, their new release is expected to gain momentum.
