Singer Oh Seung-ha promotes Korean beauty as a hanbok ambassador.

Oh Seung-ha attended the hanbok ambassador appointment ceremony hosted by the Korean Cultural Promotion Association (Chairman Jeong Samuel) at Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul, on the 18th.

The appointment ceremony was held as part of the 'Hanbok Culture Dissemination Campaign,' aimed at globalizing and popularizing Korea's traditional attire, hanbok. Oh Seung-ha, who has appeared in 'Miss Trot 3' and has shown prominence in traditional music and the trot genre, was selected as an ambassador due to her activity level and cultural influence.

Hanbok ambassador Oh Seung-ha is expected to take the lead in promoting the beauty and spiritual values of hanbok both domestically and internationally through various stages and cultural content. She plans to fulfill her ambassador role across a range of cultural and diplomatic activities, including performances, campaigns, and SNS promotions while wearing hanbok.

Chairman Jeong Samuel of the Korean Cultural Promotion Association said, "Hanbok is a precious cultural heritage that embodies our nation's identity and artistic spirit. I hope that the cultural value of hanbok spreads further around the world with Ambassador Oh Seung-ha."

The Korean Cultural Promotion Association is continuously promoting the globalization of hanbok through initiatives such as the Korea Hanbok Model Contest, global hanbok fashion shows, commemorative events, and overseas cultural exchange projects.

Oh Seung-ha remarked, "It is a great honor to have the opportunity to promote the beauty and significance of hanbok as a musician connecting tradition and modernity. I will do my best as a hanbok ambassador in the future."

Oh Seung-ha, a master of the Korean Intangible Cultural Heritage genre in folk song from Hanyang University, won the Minister of Culture and Sports Award, the grand prize at the 21st Gangwon National Gyeonggi-Jeonbuk-Gangwon Folk Song Competition. She garnered viewer interest as a trot singer with a background in traditional music after appearing in TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 3' in 2024.

While managing various event and broadcast appearances across the country, she is making surprise stages as a guest at singer Nam Jin's 60th anniversary performance, '2025 Nam Jin National Tour.'
