Actress Choi Jeong-yoon directly clarified the rumors about her being a 'Cheongdam-dong daughter-in-law.'

On the 19th, a video titled 'Cheongdam-dong daughter-in-law (?) Choi Jeong-yoon eye shopping at Cheongdam furniture store' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Choi Jeong-yoon with Two Jobs.' In the video, Choi Jeong-yoon showed herself visiting a Cheongdam furniture store to redecorate her daughter Ji-woo's room.

He noted, "I wanted to decorate my daughter Ji-woo's room like her sister's, so I came out to look for pretty furniture," adding, "I used to have the nickname 'Cheongdam-dong daughter-in-law,' but I've never actually lived in Cheongdam-dong."

He continued, "Even though I kept saying that, it spread like a rumor. Here I am, finally coming to Cheongdam to look for furniture," he humorously clarified.

Choi Jeong-yoon married Yoon Tae-jun, the eldest son of the vice president of E-Land Group and a former member of Eagle Five, in 2011 and had a daughter, but after three years of separation, they divorced in 2022. Her ex-husband Yoon Tae-jun has been sentenced to prison for stock manipulation in the past.

Once noted as a 'daughter-in-law of a conglomerate,' she drew attention by confessing her realistic livelihood issues after the divorce, expressing her thoughts on considering a 'side job.'

Choi Jeong-yoon said, "Actors these days really have no work. I have had a romantic notion about fixed income, so I have been thinking about what I can do besides acting for several years," adding, "I first challenged myself with the real estate agent exam but failed to obtain the qualification. I also considered starting a bread shop, but people around me said it’s something a person who committed sins in a previous life does. I shared my realistic concerns."

Meanwhile, Choi Jeong-yoon is preparing for her second career by sharing her simple daily life through her YouTube channel.
