Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant, Lee Jung-hyun revealed her new home.
In the episode aired on the 20th of KBS2's variety show 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' (hereafter referred to as 'Fun-Staurant'), the versatile goddess Lee Jung-hyun reminisced about her techno warrior days that dominated the music scene at the turn of the century.
Lee Jung-hyun, who recently moved, first revealed her new home, stating, "I lived in my newlywed home for a long time and moved to a new space." She showcased not only a spacious living room but also a slider and continued to present the highlight of the house, the kitchen.
The kitchen had everything from a large dining table to a bar table, and Lee Jung-hyun explained, "I created a bar table because I wanted to have meals facing my family this time." Upon seeing this, Lee Yeon-bok remarked, "Just looking at the kitchen, it's clear that this person really loves cooking." Additionally, showing off a gigantic 80cm Hinoki wood cutting board, Lee Jung-hyun said, "I asked the factory owner to customize the size for me. They thought I was the business owner. They were surprised when I said I was just a home cook. I've always wanted a large cutting board."
"I have a strong desire for cutting boards. I have a pile of cutting boards at home. What I've always wanted is a cutting board that smells like Hinoki wood. I wanted a raw log cutting board so much. The feeling of cutting on it is so good. On the first day, I placed it beside my bed. The scent was so nice. I feel so happy having it in my kitchen," she revealed.
At the same time, Lee Jung-hyun mentioned, "They say the Hinoki cutting board has sterilizing properties. I will use this cutting board for my entire life. I will pass it down to my daughter who loves cooking."
In particular, Lee Jung-hyun said, "It has been my wish for 30 years. I've wanted it so much," as she revealed a cooking steel plate that can typically be seen in restaurants, drawing attention. Lee Jung-hyun explained, "I’ve wanted a steel plate to cook properly for 30 years. I customized that too at the factory. I installed four exhaust fans. There are fans below, above, on the sides, and in the back. I redesigned the kitchen completely. I tore down everything from the basic layout to the ceiling for the steel plate cooking area."
