‘20th Century Hit Song’ introduces songs from artists who gained popularity after member changes.

The 269th episode of KBS Joy’s ’20th Century Hit Song,' airing at 8:30 p.m. on the 20th, is themed ‘A Rolling Stone Gathers No Moss! A Hit Song After Member Changes,’ showcasing hit songs from artists who became popular after member changes.

In the early part of the broadcast, Lee Mi-joo comments, ‘This is the 1st anniversary of 20th Century Hit Song.’ In response to Kim Hee-chul’s request for her thoughts, Lee Mi-joo adds, ‘I am Lee Mi-joo, the rolling stone. I endured a lot of pushback during this time, and it was really tough, but I think I’m here now thanks to senior Kim Hee-chul (the stuck stone).’ She expresses, ‘I hope for a lot of love.’ To this, Kim Hee-chul says, ‘I didn’t think we would be together for this long,’ creating a cheerful atmosphere.

This episode features Baby V.O.X’s ‘Get Up (1999).’ Composed by Kim Hyung-seok and featuring vocals by Kim Jo-han, this song gained attention during the activities of their 3rd album, which returned with a ‘strong older sister’ concept, unlike their pure concept in their 2nd album, with the addition of Yoon Eun-hye.

Reacting to the performance, Lee Mi-joo states, ‘I can’t imagine without senior Yoon Eun-hye.’ The archived footage includes Yoon Eun-hye’s self-introduction at 16 years old and scenes introducing her as ‘the secret weapon of the 3rd album’ by the Baby V.O.X members. It is noted that until the 3rd album, Baby V.O.X frequently had member changes, but the member lineup has been maintained since the ‘Get Up’ activities.

Lee Mi-joo notes, ‘They achieved 1st place on KBS Music Bank in a short time,’ conveying that Baby V.O.X had tremendous success, and Kim Hee-chul adds that they set various records and also filmed their first advertisement.

In this broadcast, footage of Yoon Eun-hye carrying Kang Ho-dong, who was active as ‘Girl Merchant’ at the time, is also revealed. Upon seeing this, Lee Mi-joo says, ‘I want to carry someone too,’ and a scene where she actually carries Kim Hee-chul is revealed, bringing laughter.

Subsequently, the performance of the complete Baby V.O.X group, which became a topic at last year’s KBS Music Festival, is featured, and Kim Hee-chul expresses affection towards Baby V.O.X with remarks like, ‘How can they be so beautiful?’ and ‘Isn’t Lee Ji-yoon showing up one more time?’

Additionally, a group with a famous ballad singer who was an original member, a song that ended the continuous 1st place streak of a popular male idol group on a music program, and a girl group that had the most member changes in Korea will also be revealed in the ’20th Century Hit Song' airing at 8:30 p.m. on the 20th.
