Wendy makes professional baseball debut with opening pitch for Lotte Giants

Singer Wendy will make her debut in a professional baseball opening pitch for the first time.

According to Ascend, Wendy will take part in the opening pitch for the KBO League game between the Lotte Giants and Samsung Lions, which will be held at Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium on the afternoon of the 22nd.

Wendy said, "I am honored to throw my first ever opening pitch at the Lotte Giants. I will do my best to prepare for the pitch so that my support can contribute to the game," adding, "I hope all the players stay injury-free and show a wonderful game."

Wendy debuted in 2014 as a member of Red Velvet, building a solid fan base both domestically and internationally with numerous hits like 'Ice Cream Cake,' 'Red Flavor,' 'Psycho,' and 'Cosmic.' She has since showcased her solo work by releasing albums such as 'Like Water' and 'Wish You Hell.'
