Actor Choi Young-jun shows a heavy presence through the drama "I Shopping."
The new ENA Monday-Tuesday drama "I Shopping," directed by Oh Gi-hwan and written by Ahn So-jung, will first air at 10 p.m. on July 21 (Monday). It is an action thriller depicting the desperate survival and revenge of children who narrowly escape death after being abandoned by their adoptive parents.
In the drama, Choi Young-jun plays the role of Woo Tae-sik, a henchman of an illegal adoption organization who secretly rescues and protects refunded children. Upon discovering the truth about the organization, he becomes engulfed in deep guilt and chooses to risk everything to protect the children, taking on the role of a helper by teaching them how to survive.
In stills released today (20th), Choi Young-jun captivates attention by perfectly immersing himself in the character of the secret guardian Woo Tae-sik who protects the children.
Tae-sik's solid gaze and heavy expression, which are vividly revealed even in the darkness, convey his complex inner world honed from surviving in the organization for a long time while protecting the children. His determined face and tears overflowing with emotion hint at the tense developments to unfold in the drama and heighten curiosity about his relationship with the children.
Choi Young-jun, who adds weight to the drama based on his acting prowess, proves his status as a ‘master of acting’ through deep emotional performance in this work as well. His performance, which transmits a stronger resonance than words, is expected to enhance the immersion of "I Shopping."

"I Shopping," based on the Kakao webtoon that won the 'Best Creativity Award' at the International Content Market SPP 2017 and recorded over 51 million views, is jointly produced by Group Eight, the successful production company behind dramas based on original works such as "Lovestruck in the City," "Taxi Driver" series, "My ID is Gangnam Beauty," and "Boys Over Flowers," along with Take One Studio, which produced "Your Honor" and "Luca: The Beginning."
