In the ‘Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant’, Lee Jung-hyun mentioned Jo Sung-mo.
On the 20th episode of the KBS2 variety show ‘Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Fun-Staurant’), the all-round goddess Lee Jung-hyun reminisced about her techno warrior days that dominated the music scene at the turn of the century.
That day, Lee Jung-hyun showcased various teppanyaki dishes, starting with seafood teppanyaki, and concluded with plum cold noodles.
After completing the cold noodles using homemade plum extract, she began eating side by side with her husband. During the meal, her husband teased, saying, “The course is nearly five hours long,” and Lee Yeon-bok humorously remarked, “You’re still teasing, it’s the fortieth spring.”
Then, Lee Jung-hyun said, “Honey, seeing the plums reminds me of that oppa,” mentioning singer Jo Sung-mo. Her husband, feeling jealous, asked, “What oppa?” and Lee Jung-hyun explained, “He was famous for his green plums. He was active alongside me. We were always candidates for first place together.”
Lee Jung-hyun, while shooting a mobile phone advertisement with Jo Sung-mo, presented sweetness with the line “Good night, dream of me.” Since the ad attracted attention, she was also caught up in dating rumors with Jo Sung-mo at the time.
Referencing the mobile phone advertisement, Lee Jung-hyun asked, “Do you know?” and her husband replied, “I know. I used 016.” In response, Lee Jung-hyun said, “You used it because of me,” to which her husband quipped, “No, I just used it because it was the cheapest,” bringing laughter.
