SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE 8, Mingyu, Dokyum, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has raised their 8th music broadcast trophy with their 5th studio album.

On the 19th, SEVENTEEN took first place with their album's title track "THUNDER" during the broadcast of Mnet's "M Countdown." They continued their box office run, embracing another trophy without appearing on the show following MBC's "Show! Music Core." The members conveyed their thoughts through social media, saying, "A shining first place gifted by our CARATs (fan club name). Let’s be happy together forever."

"THUNDER," released on the 26th of last month, has been dominating the upper ranks of major music charts domestically and internationally, showcasing its "long-run popularity." Upon its release, the song topped Melon's "TOP 100" as well as Bugs' real-time and daily charts, and it entered the Circle Chart's digital sector at number one, maintaining its position in the upper ranks for three weeks. It also succeeded in charting for three consecutive weeks on the Billboard's "Global 200" and "Global (excluding U.S.)" charts, which rank popular songs in over 200 countries and regions worldwide.

SEVENTEEN is also showing remarkable activity on the album charts. "HAPPY BURSTDAY" recorded the highest initial sales (sales in the first week after release) for K-pop albums released this year, and it has been listed on Billboard's main album chart, the "Billboard 200," for two consecutive weeks. Notably, they entered this chart at number two, achieving their highest ranking and tying record.

SEVENTEEN reaches out to fans with diverse content. First, the final full version of "Nana Minbak with SEVENTEEN" will be released today (20th) on the global superfan platform Weverse. On the 24th, Hoshi and Mingyu will appear on SBS's "Whenever Possible." The following day, on the 25th, the new season of "GOING SEVENTEEN," known as "the infinite challenge of K-pop," will return.
