Singer Lee Jung noted on 'Radio Star' that he has restored his relationship with his father as the trot singer Cheon Rok-dam.

On the 18th, the MBC entertainment program 'Radio Star' (abbreviated as 'Ras') featured guests Kim Tae-kyun, Cheon Rok-dam (Lee Jung), Lee Dae-hyung, and Forestella's Go Woo-rim.

Among them, Cheon Rok-dam garnered attention as singer Lee Jung challenged the trot genre with a newly established stage name. Notably, Lee Jung ranked 3rd in 'Mr. Trot Season 3' as Cheon Rok-dam, drawing attention.

"I created this with the hope that my music would spread from Baekdu Mountain's lake to Hallasan's Baengnokdam," Lee Jung said. "In fact, when I was doing ballads, I struggled with whether this was the right path. But my grandfather sang pansori, and my father, although briefly, sang trot. Now, it feels like I am wearing the right clothes. Singing comfortably makes singing enjoyable," he expressed, generating surprise.

Having also claimed 'the trot descent rite,' Lee Jung said, "When I first appeared in the first season of 'Mr. Trot,' I thought to myself, 'If I had known about that program, I would have participated.' At that time, my activities became uncertain, and the biggest reason I started singing trot was because my wife said, 'I hope you sing the songs you do well.'"

In particular, he remarked, "I originally didn't contact my father. However, after my father watched my first broadcast, it seemed he liked seeing me perform trot. Then, he would text me song titles for choosing. He suggested, 'Try this, try that.' Thanks to that, it became an opportunity to get closer to my family."
