Born in 1940, Yeo Woon-gye graduated from Korea University and started on the theater stage, gaining recognition as an actress after being selected as a KBS talent in 1962. She was especially loved for her roles in works such as 'Hello, Francesca,' 'My Name is Kim Sam-soon,' and 'Dae Jang Geum.' She passed away on May 22, 2009, at the age of 69 due to lung cancer while undergoing treatment.
