Former Japanese adult film actress Asuka Kirara shared her calm daily life despite the allegations of prostitution involving Joo Hak-nyeon.

Asuka Kirara uploaded a behind-the-scenes video of a photo shoot to her social account on the 18th. In the video, Asuka Kirara wore a short miniskirt outfit and posed in various ways while sitting on a chair. Moreover, she made a peace sign (V) toward the camera that was filming the video and showed a bright smile, appearing very happy.

On that day, Asuka Kirara's scandal with Joo Hak-nyeon made headlines and created a significant stir. A media outlet obtained a query from the Japanese local media Shūkan Bunshun, reporting that Joo Hak-nyeon enjoyed a secret rendezvous with Asuka Kirara at a private bar in Tokyo at the end of last month. It was reported that Joo Hak-nyeon and Asuka Kirara engaged in physical contact, such as hugging and resting a chin on each other's shoulder.

Asuka Kirara debuted as an adult film actress in 2007 and retired in 2020; she is currently active as an influencer. Furthermore, Asuka Kirara is in a public relationship with Hirak, a YouTuber with intellectual disabilities, which is assumed to be based on the intention to marry. In response, the agency of The Boyz, One Hundred, issued an official statement noting that they took the seriousness of the situation seriously and acknowledged that it would be difficult to maintain trust as an artist. They confirmed the final decision to terminate Joo Hak-nyeon's membership and exclusive contract after discussions with the members.

However, after reports emerged suggesting that Joo Hak-nyeon did not simply enjoy a secret rendezvous with Asuka Kirara but engaged in prostitution, there was a shock. According to the reports, Joo Hak-nyeon initially denied the allegations but later admitted to the facts of prostitution when presented with concrete evidence. This process raised suspicions that MC Mong, who was recently excluded from work, was also involved in the matter.

As the controversy grew, Joo Hak-nyeon posted a handwritten letter on his social account early on the 19th, explaining, "On May 30, 2025, I attended a drinking party with acquaintances, and while it is true that I was there, I have not engaged in any prostitution or any illegal activities mentioned in the articles or rumors. I deeply reflect on my actions and sincerely apologize to those who might be shocked by this."

Moreover, the head of One Hundred, Cha Ga-won, and the chairman of Piac Group also issued an apology, stating, "One Hundred humbly accepts that we have insufficient management regarding the privacy and attitude of our artists and members. We will strengthen our management system regarding the overall attitude and privacy of artists and strive to improve ethical awareness through education and internal system overhaul."

Joo Hak-nyeon denied the allegations of prostitution, but many fans who had supported him lost trust and expressed disappointment. In this context, comments demanding a response also flooded Asuka Kirara's personal account, along with malicious comments. Moreover, it became known that although Asuka Kirara is a former adult film actress, she attended the '11th Korea Art Culture Award Ceremony' held in 2023 and received a special award in the overseas model category, sparking outrage among some netizens.

Despite the sharp public opinion surrounding her, Asuka Kirara has not yet expressed any particular position. Additionally, she posted a message capturing her calm daily life, seemingly ignoring the controversy and fueling the flames of the issue.

Meanwhile, Joo Hak-nyeon was reported on the 19th over the prostitution allegations. According to Article 21 of the Law on the Punishment of Prostitution and Related Acts, those who engage in prostitution can be sentenced to up to one year in prison or fined up to 3 million won. Under domestic law, Korean nationals are subject to punishment even if prostitution occurs overseas. On this day, a complaint was received at the National Complaint Center, requesting an investigation into Joo Hak-nyeon's alleged overseas prostitution and the involvement of agency personnel, which has been assigned to the Women and Youth Division of the Seoul Gangnam Police Station for investigation.
