Former Sistar member Soyou revealed her thorough diet management secrets, recalling her experience with the 'no carb diet' she practiced for 3 years.

On the 19th, a video titled "Attention dieters! Soyou's recommended diet items I personally purchased" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Soyouki.' In the video, Soyou shared that she maintained a strict 'no carb' (無炭高脂) lifestyle for 3 years, eliminating carbohydrates from her diet completely.

Soyou noted, "I haven't eaten carbohydrates for about 3 years. When I lose weight, I lose it well, but once I start eating, I uncontrollably binge on carbohydrates," adding, "Eventually, I realized the necessity of carbohydrates, and recently, I've been choosing konjac rice as an alternative."

She said, "I pair konjac brown rice with torn green vegetables like European salads. I eat it with a fried egg drizzled with oriental sauce as a meal," also introducing practical recipes for her diet. She mentioned, "When I was on an extreme keto diet (high fat, low carb) in the past, I had to cook myself, so I was diligent. Now, I'm trying to simplify my meals and only check my daily protein intake to maintain my diet."

For snacks to prepare for when she gets a craving, she recommends MCT chocolate and chocolate balls, saying, "I calm my cravings with snacks as small as possible." Soyou added, "Before exercising, I mix coffee and a protein shake. I add one shot of espresso, mix it with protein powder, beverage, and MCT oil," specifically sharing her dietary habits that she has been practicing.
