The group Forestella member Go Woorim successfully completed his first entertainment program appearance after military discharge.
Go Woorim appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' special 'Mr. Voice,' which aired on the 18th, providing laughter with various episodes.
Introduce as the 'life sentence guilty voice,' Go Woorim stated with a dignified salute, 'Having completed 1 year and 6 months of service, I am burning with enthusiasm to appear on 'Radio Star' as my first entertainment show.' He expressed his aspiration, saying, 'There is a heavy image of crossover groups, but I want to show that everyone is talented and represent that well.'
Go Woorim opened the door to his first entertainment show after his discharge with a talk about his 9-day trip to France with his wife, Kim Yuna. He said, 'Having been away for 1 year and 6 months, I thought I needed time with my wife, so I went. The hotel staff in Paris called my wife 'Olympic champion,' which made my wife proud.'
In particular, Go Woorim pointed to his 'voice' as a part that allowed him to marry Kim Yuna, saying, 'My wife said she never thought she would marry someone younger. I was concerned about the 5-year age difference and wanted to speak well to make a good impression, and in the meantime, my mature-sounding voice appealed to her.' He sparked excitement by explaining the moments from when they first met and developed into a relationship, through their 4-year secret dating process, to the moment they decided to get married.
Go Woorim also played the role of the promotional fairy for Forestella. Announcing the news of Forestella's comeback scheduled for July and the nationwide tour concert, he sang a short part of the new song 'Everything' to heighten the anticipation of fans waiting for the comeback.
Go Woorim captivated 'Radio Star' with his enchanting voice. Belonging to the bass range, Go Woorim revealed that he possesses the rare vocal range known as 'basso profondo,' the lowest in the bass category, and stated that his voice is utilized as a stimulating element in Forestella's songs. Showing off the 'Aladdin' OST that he performed during military band practice with such a cavernous voice drew amazement from everyone.
Additionally, Go Woorim showcased his personal talents, such as the 'New Recruit' character he polished in the military and impressions of actor Han Seok-kyu and comedian Cho Sae-ho, bringing laughter.
Meanwhile, Forestella, of which Go Woorim is a member, will hold their 2025 nationwide tour solo concert 'THE WAVE' starting in Seoul on July 26 and 27, followed by Busan on August 9 and 10, and Daegu on the 23rd and 24th.
