Actress Lee Da Hae returned to the role of 'Joo Yu Rin' from a drama 20 years ago.

On the 16th, in a video released on the YouTube channel '1+1=Lee Da Hae', Lee Da Hae appeared in full makeup as Joo Yu Rin from the drama 'My Girl' on Nanjing East Road in Shanghai, China.

She summoned the character from the 2005 aired work to see if fans who remember that time could still recognize her.

Lee Da Hae expressed her worries, saying, "I wonder if it’s possible after 20 years," but after transforming into Joo Yu Rin with a perfectly recreated hairstyle and outfit, she stepped out onto the street. She joked, "Isn't it embarrassing if they don’t recognize me?" but soon her concern turned out to be unfounded.

Fans who immediately recognized Lee Da Hae upon her arrival at Nanjing East Road cheered, and the streets quickly filled with crowds. As the crowd drew so many people that the police were called, she smiled and said, "There are so many people that the police are following us. But still, I feel good."

She noted, "The 'My Girl' OST is still used as background music in China. It’s really a blessing that people still remember the drama after 20 years," and confessed, "Much more people than I was worried about recognized me. It was really touching to know that Joo Yu Rin from 20 years ago still exists."
