Will former UDT broadcaster Dex collaborate with Suzy in the drama "Harem's Men"?
On the 19th, a representative from Dex's side stated to OSEN regarding his appearance in the drama "Harem's Men," "His appearance has not been decided. We have received the proposal and are positively reviewing it, but nothing has been confirmed."
The drama "Harem's Men" is based on a Naver web novel by author Alfatart, which tells the story of the empress of the Tarium Empire, Ratil, who brings men into her harem to protect her position as emperor.
The original web novel was serialized from March 2020 to June 2023, recording over 21.4 million cumulative downloads, and it gained significant popularity both domestically and internationally after being adapted into a webtoon. As interest grows in a live-action adaptation, the protagonist Ratil is currently under review by Suzy.
Dex's side has shown a cautious response to reports that he has been confirmed for casting as one of Ratil's concubines, stating, "His appearance has not been decided. We have only received the proposal and nothing has been confirmed yet," adding that meetings with the production team for his appearance have also not yet taken place.
Meanwhile, the production of "Harem's Men" is handled by Studio Dragon, with director Lee Eung-bok, who has directed "Sweet Home 2," "Sweet Home 3," "Mr. Sunshine," and "Goblin," at the helm. Additionally, writer Hwang Jin-young, who penned the 2023's top drama MBC's "Lovers," will contribute to enrich the story.
