Singer and musical actor Lee Chang-seop showcased his solid skills in the re-run of 'Memphis.'

Lee Chang-seop took to the stage as Huey in the musical 'Memphis' at the Chungryeol Art Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 18th, delivering a successful first performance.

'Memphis' is based on the true story of legendary DJ Dewey Phillips, who introduced black music to white society. It depicts the dreams and love of radio DJ Huey, who aims to change the world with rock and roll, and the talented singer Felicia in the southern U.S. city of Memphis in the 1950s.

Lee Chang-seop once again embodied Huey, reuniting with the audience after the Korean premiere of 'Memphis' held in 2023. The charming voice and dazzling performance of Lee Chang-seop, transformed into a young DJ, and his more refined acting delighted the audience's senses.

Additionally, Lee Chang-seop completed the passionate and optimistic character with his solid skills and unique personality. The thrilling and emotionally impactful journey of spreading rock and roll was presented with Lee Chang-seop's three-dimensional expressiveness, offering a deep sense of immersion.

As a musical actor, Lee Chang-seop also showcased his matured abilities after returning from 'Winterreise,' which ended in February of last year, 1 year and 4 months ago. Through this re-run of 'Memphis,' Lee Chang-seop is expected to once again demonstrate his trustworthiness in character portrayal.

Lee Chang-seop successfully wrapped up his solo concert tour 'The Wayfarer,' proving his worth as a performance-oriented artist. He also released new songs 'Feel The Groove' and 'I'll Become a Flower,' and continues active engagements by participating in various festivals.

The musical 'Memphis,' featuring Lee Chang-seop, will continue at the Chungryeol Art Center until September 21.
