The cast of the movie 'Undercover Investigation' revealed an incident where police rushed in during the first domestic shoot.
The movie 'Undercover Investigation' (directed by T. Amartbushin, produced/distributed by Smile Entertainment, imported by Horizon Works, co-distributed by Blue Film Works) held a press screening and media conference on the 19th at the Lotte Cinema World Tower in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Principal cast members such as Sukbold Ragchabazar, Niyamdamba Baisha, Ganbayar Shavakcheren, Sukbatar Baatzorgiq, Olanchaakt Cherkhakhala, and Manlai Batark participated in discussions about the film with domestic and Mongolian reporters.
'Undercover Investigation' is a film depicting the bizarre undercover investigations of legendary detectives from Mongolia set in Korea. Notably, this movie is the first commercial film from Mongolia to conduct all location shooting in Korea.
Were there any special episodes during the filming in Korea? Manlai first noted, "Filming in Korea was 100% on-location, and since I didn't know Korean, there were challenges. About 30 people came from Mongolia to participate in the shoot. There were many things to learn in Korea."
In addition, Manlai chuckled and said, "Korean food was so delicious. Everyone loved it." He also shared, "A funny point was during the first shoot for the scene where we kidnapped a female actress, real police showed up. We were wondering, 'Why are so many police here?' We were surprised thinking that many Koreans reported that a kidnapping was happening. We explained to the police later and continued the shooting, but it was scary."
He also stated, "When the Korean staff explained things to us, they said that we only needed to make noise once during filming, as in Korea, everything proceeds quietly."
'Undercover Investigation' will also be released domestically on the 27th.
