Tak Hyun-min, the chief executive planning advisor to the National Assembly, announced that he is deeply contemplating the concept of the Constitution Day ceremony. In particular, there is growing interest in the prospect that President Lee Jae-myung's appointment ceremony may take place alongside this year's Constitution Day event.

Advisor Tak appeared on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show' on the 19th, saying, "The Constitution Day event is somewhat different from previous presidential or national events," noting, "To be honest, I hadn't thought about that (the concept)."

He continued, "I don't think Constitution Day is a national holiday that receives such attention, so I didn't think much about it, but I suddenly realized something new yesterday and became very troubled," adding, "This is an event that clearly involves both the ruling and opposition parties, and if we create content biased towards one direction, the other side may feel too uncomfortable."

Advisor Tak reviewed performance materials from past Constitution Day ceremonies, stating, "As I looked back at old Constitution Day events, I saw that they performed only things that weren't exciting, like lion dances and traditional music," noting, "I thought, 'Why did we prefer such bland things?' There was a reason for that, and it really troubled me."

He added, "Yesterday, I sat alone wondering, 'Should I have Mr. Kim Heung-kook sing the March of the Beloved?'" mentioning, "It's an extreme joke, but anyway, I'm in such a dilemma, and I need to sort it out this week." Kim Heung-kook is known to have political ties with the People Power Party and publicly supported candidate Kim Moon-soo in the last presidential election.

Earlier, National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik officially appointed Advisor Tak as the chief executive planning advisor on the 12th. He previously served as the chief secretary for protocol at the Blue House during the term of former President Moon Jae-in.
