The Korean occult horror film 'Goblin: The Body Snatcher' (working title) has completed three months of filming and wrapped up on May 30 (Friday).
The film 'Goblin: The Body Snatcher' (directed by Hong Won-ki, distributed by Mindmark Co., Ltd., produced by Mindmark Co., Ltd.) is an occult horror story that begins with horrifying and bizarre events when a blue-eyed 'Strange Child,' who steals parts of the human body, appears, along with 'Soo-hyun,' a blonde rocker given a terminal diagnosis, and the mysterious girl 'Yuna,' whose identity remains unknown.
'Goblin: The Body Snatcher' showcases a gathering of next-generation rising stars like Jo Yoon-soo, Kim Woo-seok, Kim Do-wan, Choi Yea-bin, and Park Sang-eun, all boasting unique personalities, and after three months of intensive shooting, it wrapped up on May 30 (Friday), promising a new sense of horror never seen before.
First, Jo Yoon-soo, who drew attention for proving her presence as a monstrous rookie in last year's hit Disney+ original series 'Tyrant,' plays 'Yuna,' a mysterious fan who admires 'Soo-hyun'’s singing. Following her, Kim Woo-seok, who has showcased solid acting skills across a variety of genres, including MBC's 'Geumsan' and tvN's 'Military Prosecutor Doberman,' will exude hexagonal charm as 'Soo-hyun,' the vocalist of the band 'Blue Eyes,' who has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Additionally, Kim Do-wan, Choi Yea-bin, and Park Sang-eun join as 'Jun-young,' the bassist of 'Blue Eyes'; 'Eun-chae,' the manager; and 'Hyuk-kwon,' the drummer, respectively, indicating strong synergy as they get embroiled in the mysterious events alongside Jo Yoon-soo and Kim Woo-seok, heightening anticipation for the extreme horror they will create.
Jo Yoon-soo noted, “Just reading the script depicted a fresh fun of being an occult, and I was happy to be part of the project. I am grateful to have safely completed the filming, and I have high expectations for the finished work.” Meanwhile, Kim Woo-seok expressed, “The story's concept is very unique and attractive, so I was drawn in instantly. I believe I will be able to show various sides of myself through this work. I ask for your great interest.”

Finally, Director Hong Won-ki, known for delivering realistic yet innovative horror through works like 'Seoul Ghost Story' and 'City Ghost Story', expressed, “I filmed diligently to create a new style of occult horror based on the material 'Goblin.' I am grateful for the actors and staff who gave their best together. I will immerse myself in post-production to ensure the best work is produced.”
