Broadcaster Jeong Juri reported on her husband's shock after his vasectomy.
On the 18th, a video titled "How is Jeong Juri these days? A long overdue update talk!" was uploaded to Jeong Juri's YouTube channel.
That day, Jeong Juri said, "I'm just living like this. When Do-jun was pregnant, I had tenosynovitis with a lot of pus, which got better and then recurred," and shared that she is suffering from recurrent tenosynovitis while noting, "We are 40. We really need to be careful."
She continued regarding her diet, saying, "So-so. Haven't the swelling gone down a bit? I worked out today too. I am a slim 73 kg. When I first started the diet with our A-jin, I was 79.7 kg. I originally got down to 71.5 kg, but after a 3-night, 4-day trip with my husband, I gained back 4.5 kg and now I'm in the process of losing it again. These days, slow jogging is trendy, isn't it? I do slow, slow jogging. It's slower than the pace of an elderly person walking. But I do not stop. When slow jogging, I do about 5 or 6 km. Slow jogging is said to be at a pace where you can carry on a conversation, so I chat back and forth for 1 or 2 hours."
He noted, "These days, the weather is getting really hot, so I help when my aunt is there at night after putting the kids to bed, and I’ve started jogging with my husband. The best part is that my husband is joining me. Why is that? We are going to live long. Be healthy for a long time. Now that Do-jun is in the 3rd grade, when he turns 10 and we have a parent observation day, both of us will go, right? We'll be 50. We need to take care of ourselves, especially for Do-jun's sake. The reason I like going out with my husband is that there’s not much time to talk after he comes home from work. It's really nice to talk about what happened today while walking a little bit."
Jeong Juri said, "The effect of exercise is good, but my mind is becoming really healthy. It feels really great. Today, I ran for 40 minutes at the gym and covered 5 km. I increased my speed a bit. I usually set the treadmill speed to 5 or 6, but today I tried 8 or 9. I worked hard. I felt like I could do it. It’s getting better. Back when I was interval training, it was really hard to do 1 minute at 9, wasn’t it? Today, I was able to run at speed 9 for over 3 or 4 minutes. I plan to do this for a long time, not just for a short while. I will not change my eating habits drastically. I run to eat my favorite foods. If I can just lose 1 kg a month, that's fine with me. So I ate what I wanted earlier. I do not regret it."
Also, regarding the children's situation, Jeong Juri said, "Doesn't Do-yun have a parent-teacher conference? The teacher doesn’t recommend advance learning, but Do-yun needs it. He felt that his math skills were lacking, so I talked with the teacher at the academy. 'This is not advance learning, it’s current learning,' she said. Do-yun is currently in the 4th grade but is doing 3rd grade materials. I felt bad for not paying enough attention, so I started sending him to a math academy. He seems to really enjoy it. My kids don’t like to do things at home. They enjoy doing things outside."
She added, "Do-won is bright. Do-ha is also bright. Do-gyeong is 4 years old. He seems to have a bit of a stubbornness. My husband is quick to acknowledge things. He always apologizes first when we argue. I also need to have patience to maintain peace, but I truly am stubborn. When I see that stubbornness, I think he takes after me. It's cute yet pitiful. When Do-gyeong is being stubborn, my heart goes out because I have to watch Do-jun. His speaking has really improved. Do-gyeong is growing up well, and Do-jun is now 5 months and 4 days old. I need to start him on solid food soon. He was born at 3.76 kg, and now he’s 9.5 kg. He’ll reach 10 kg soon. His weight has increased a lot, and he also has two bottom teeth. I'm watching the timing to start solid food."
In particular, Jeong Juri expressed surprise at the end of the video, saying, "After we had five children, my husband had a vasectomy. He recently went to the hospital. After 20 to 30 discharges, he went to check if there was any remaining sperm. It doesn’t disappear immediately. Even after surgery, it can remain. They need to confirm the absence of sperm after everything is cleared out. However, when my husband went, he said there was still some left. It has been 100 days since I gave birth, and there’s still some left. So, I told him to go and discharge just 10 more times and see."
